This is a temporary position. There are 6 positions available.
Primary Purpose:
This position's responsibilities are to work with a network engineering team to stage, deploy and replace network access layer equipment and support various network infrastructure projects at Kent School District locations.
Essential Job Duties:
Job duties include unboxing, configuring, installing, cleaning, removal, and surplus of district network equipment. Assist team leads as directed and perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must demonstrate a successful level of knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Education and Experience:
Currently enrolled or graduated from the Kent School District or enrolled in a technology-related degree program.
Requirements:
Have a current driver's license and vehicle for traveling between schools
Evaluation:
Evaluation responsibilities are assigned to the manager of Technology Infrastructure and Operations.

- Ability to operate basic cordless power and hand tools.
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb a ladder and work from heights.
- Ability to work with a team to achieve goals.
- Ability to learn new operations, procedures, processes, and use of new equipment.
- Ability to organize, set priorities, and work effectively under pressure.
