Job Goals:
The principal will collaborate with teachers, parents, community members, district administration as well as other internal and external resources and stakeholders to implement quality educational programs and effectively utilize systems and tools to accelerate the teaching and learning process.

Performance Responsibilities:
1.Promote the learning and growth of all students and the success of all staff by cultivating a shared vision that makes powerful teaching and learning the central focus of education
2.Continually monitor and assess the progress of educators, offers constructive feedback and provides additional supports as needed
3.Ensure that instructional practices reflect high expectations regarding content and quality of effort and work, engage all students, and are personalized to accommodate diverse learning styles, needs, interests, and levels of readiness
4.Set and model high expectations for the quality of content, student effort, and student work school-wide
5.Ensure that all teachers use a variety of formal and informal methods and assessments to measure student learning, growth, and understanding and will make necessary adjustments to their practice when students are not learning
6.Provide effective and timely supervision and evaluation in alignment with state regulations and contract provisions
7.Use multiple sources of data , including state, district, and school assessment results to inform school and district goals and to improve organizational performance, educator effectiveness, and student learning
8.Promote the learning and growth of all students and the success of all staff by ensuring a safe, efficient, and effective learning environment, using resources to implement appropriate curriculum, staffing and scheduling
9.Understand and comply with state and federal laws and mandates, school committee policies, collective bargaining agreements and ethical guidelines
10.Promote the learning and growth of all students and the success of all staff through effective partnerships with families, community organizations and other stakeholders
11.Address family concerns in an equitable, effective, and efficient manner
12.Have a shared commitment to high standards of teaching and learning with high expectations for achievement for all
13.Ensure that policies and practices enable staff members and students to interact effectively in a culturally diverse environment in which students' backgrounds, identities, strengths, and challenges are respected
14.Demonstrate strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
15.Develop and nurture a culture in which staff members are reflective about their practice and use student data, current research, and best practices to continuously adapt instruction to improve results. Model these behaviors in the administrator's own practice
16.Employ strategies for responding to disagreement and dissent, constructively resolving conflicts and building consensus throughout the /school community
17.Engage all stakeholders in the creation of a shared educational vision in which every student is prepared to succeed in postsecondary education and become responsible citizens and community contributors

Job Requirements
Qualifications: 1.Licensed by the Mass Department of Elementary & Secondary in Principal/Asst.
