Commencing on July 1, 2019 and terminating on June 30, 2022 all new employees shall be compensated at a wage rate of fifteen percent (15%) below the contractual rate of pay. Wages for new employees will be increased in five percent (5%) increments annually on the anniversary of the date of hire. On June 30, 2022 new employees shall receive the full contractual rate.

Additional days intended to support the data needs of a ramp up program for students who need additional help to successfully complete the year and to support with the organization of the Freshmen Connection Summer Program at JSEC
REPORTS TO: Principal DIRECTLY SUPERVISES: None Building Administrators School: N/A
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Data and Test coordinator will oversee everything related to data, test management, and surveys. This includes all related operations to support the data and assessment needs including progress monitoring. With each required test, assessment and data there is a multitude of managerial and operational steps. Testing that will be overseen includes but is not limited to: STAR Reading and Math Assessment (BOY, MOY and EOY), STAR Reading and Math Progress Monitoring (throughout the year), ACCESS testing, PSAT/SAT, Advanced Placement (AP), NGSA in science, CTE assessments for industry earned credentials, and Reading Plus assessment. The data and test coordinator will work with the leadership team to decrease chronic absenteeism including home visits, organize the Freshmen Transition Program during the summer, and manage the Early Warning Systems after-school.
EDUCATION TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Demonstrated exemplary organizational skillsHands-on experience with school-based technologyDemonstrated experience with computer-based technology programs (STAR, SAT)The ability to commit time to attend trainings and prepare school-wide testing schedulesDemonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite - especially Excel.Demonstrated experience with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides, at a minimum..Flexibility to work a flexible daily schedule to meet the needs of the testing schedules.Excellent communication skills; oral, written and email

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND CURRICULAR LINKAGES: Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create the testing cycle schedulesEnsure that all technology is operational each day of the testingSupport teachers and students in the testing roomsMonitor the testing lists and flag students who need to make the test upContact parents of students who due to chronic absenteeism haven't been able to make the test upPull students to make up the testSupport teachers with printing and organizing reportsSupport teachers and students with data analysis and goal settingMaintain an organized system of test monitoring and family outreach dataOversee and support any progress monitoring that takes place (including but not limited to: quarterly grade data, freshmen on track status, school improvement metrics)Organize administration of climate and culture student surveyReach out to parents to encourage and solicit participation in Climate and culture parent survey.Work with the leadership of the school to create and support the Freshmen Orientation Program.Provide home visits to freshmen with chronic absenteeism issue prior to starting the program in September.Provide assessment make up after-school for students falling behind.Organize and support the Summer Ramp UP program that is designed to help students who are on the cusp to earn credits.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS STANDARDS:
1. Minimum requirement of High School diploma. However post-secondary education preferred.
  1. Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, administrators, parents and community organizations.

Starting Salary: $22, 580 (External Hires)
$26,564- 35,231 (Current 1033 Union Members)

Must complete all compliance videos prior to first day of work

Selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment criminal history background check. Selected candidates cannot begin work until passing their background check.
