The New Milford Public Schools has an opening for a middle school Math Interventionist. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is well versed in the CCSS Literacy and Math Standards, effective instructional strategies in Mathematics, differentiated instruction as well as data analysis and disaggregation to determine student eligibility based on the districts SRBI plan. Candidates must be able to employ a variety of instructional strategies in order to meet the needs of students and to measure through informal and formal assessments the level of knowledge acquisition of each student. Knowledge of Connected Math (6-8 only), Investigations and Bridges programs preferred.
Must be Connecticut certified in Math - Grades 7-12. Salary will be based on experience and education.
We require at least 2 current, signed letters of reference (no earlier than 2018), resume, copy of Connecticut teaching certificate and copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts. All documents must be uploaded to the online application.
