Role Mission: The Brand Marketing Manager will steward IDEA Public Schools' brand locally and nationally by expanding and creating new marketing campaigns aimed at positioning IDEA as a leader across all portfolios. The Brand Manager will increase brand awareness across and establish/improve metrics to understand IDEA's brand position nationally and in each regions.

 

Accountabilities:

 

Drive IDEA's brand vision to achieve 100% student enrollment, 100% staff hired, 100% fundraising goals met, and 100% new region goals met.

 
  • Collaborate with student recruitment, staff recruitment, and new region entry business partners as well as larger marketing and communications team to infuse a consistent brand message across all campaigns in pursuit of achieving all marketing goals
  • Lead brand campaigns geared at positioning IDEA Public Schools as a leader in the education industry, including but not limited to competition with peer charter districts
  • Create content geared at dispelling charter school and brand myths including but not limited to services provided, staff expertise, financial implications of charters, etc.
  • Tailor brand messaging to varying audiences and cascade across organization for all internal and external parties.

Envision and lead paid media campaigns for brand awareness.
  • Serve as the point-person for developing, implementing and executing marketing initiatives and activities for IDEA's holistic brand
  • Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies, including initiatives and activities for digital media, broadcast, print, radio, direct mail, and outdoor
  • Work closely with and supervise campaigns with third party media planning and buying agency to ensure our brand content is reaching the right audience and generating optimum levels of brand awareness across regions
  • Collaborate with broader marketing team to ensure that the brand marketing campaign elements are cohesive across our other marketing campaigns including student recruitment, staff hiring, and new region entry
  • Work with design team to lead the creation of brand marketing pieces that are cohesive across various paid and organic marketing elements
  • Project manage incoming requests that fall outside the scope of established marketing portfolios

 

Create and execute upon an accountability system that measures IDEA's brand impression in each region.
  • Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights by establishing baseline brand awareness metrics and developing system to improve and measure over time
  • Shape and communicate IDEA's vision and mission
  • Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and estimates
  • Measure and report performance of all brand marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs
  • Continuously monitor marketing trends and keep a close eye on competitive products in the marketplace

Assist with and/or manage the following projects on a regular basis:


  • Manage IDEA's research initiatives as relates to new region entry marketing, staff marketing, and other internal research projects as needed to ensure full understanding of how our brand messaging and marketing components are working in real time
  • Executive- and C-suite-level marketing requests
  • Campus signage content and other production needs as assigned
  • Create monthly marketing activities report and cascade to business partners

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Experience: 3-7 years experience

Compensation:
  • Salaries for this role typically fall between $66,600 and $80,618, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for a performance bonus based on individual and organizational performance and goal attainment.
