The Gifted Services Department is currently accepting applications for an instructional paraprofessional at the high school to support students in the gifted support and learning enrichment programs.

Position : Grade III; 7 Hours/day; 181 Days/year, Benefits Eligible

Education Requirements: High School Diploma required/college degree preferred

Experience: Demonstrated history of excellent interpersonal skills and independent problem solving ability

Summary Purpose of Position: The Learning Enrichment/Gifted Support high school paraprofessionl originates and maintains all records necessary to the implementation of the LE high school program options. This person also assists the high school LE/GS teachers in a variety of other duties and tasks. The position requires the employee to employ an in-depth knowledge of the operations and philosophies of the LE program. The employee must also be able to provide practical assistance to and supervision of the LE students in the day-to-day activities of the LE resource rooms.
