Hours Per Day: 7 hours

Salary Range: New hires will be set at $14.84 per hour. The salary range for internal candidates is $14.84 per hour to $19.48 per hour.

E ssential Functions and Objectives:

- The Early Childhood Education Paraprofessional assists with delivery of instruction, care, discipline, and the preparation of instructional materials for three, four and/or five year-old pre-kindergarten students as directed by the ECE classroom teacher. The Early Childhood Education Paraprofessional performs classroom duties which may include but are not limited to preparing instructional materials, assisting with student instruction, care and discipline, and keeping the classroom clean and well-organized.

E ducation Requirements:

C opy of high school diploma or GED.

Stephen Knight Center for Early Education is comprised of Preschool and Kindergarten classes only. We feed into our home elementary schools, which are Asbury, Cory, Slavens, Steele, University Park, and Lincoln. We are also proud to have families who "choice in" to our school each year. Our Center for Early Education offers students a hands-on, energetic, enriching, and developmentally appropriate program in a safe learning environment.
