The Lake Shore Central School District is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:
Special Education Teachers
Certification: Special Education, Students with Disabilities Birth-Gr. 2, Students with Disabilities Gr. 1-6, Students with Disabilities - Generalist Grades 7-12
Salary: Per LSCTA Contract

Certification Type : Special Education {9010}, Students with Disabilities Grades 1-6 {9014}, Student with Disabilities - Generalist Grades 7-12 {0086}, Students with Disabilities Birth - Grade 2 {9013}
Additional Job Information : The assignments will be a Consultant Teacher setting or Self-Contained Classroom. The successful candidates must be capable of working collaboratively with classroom teachers to provide students with academic assistance as well as direct instruction. Preferred candidates will have strong knowledge of Autism and Applied Behavioral Analysis. Candidates must have a strong background in behavior management strategies, crisis intervention and functional behavioral assessments. Candidates must have elementary level certification in order to serve K-5 students in Special Education, or secondary level certification in order to serve 7-12 students in Special Education. Preferred secondary candidates will also have certification in Math, ELA, Social Studies or Science. NOTE: The Building Principal, with the input of the Director of Pupil Personnel Services, will make final building assignments.
