JOB GOAL
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver HPS system-wide projects that span across one or more departments. Manages resources, schedules, financials , grants, changes requests, and risks to ensure successful and on-time project delivery . T he Senior Project Manager runs the project or grant on a day- to- day basis , v erif ies that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits def ined in the business case.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum 3 years of ad ministrative experience
• Experience on system- wide project implementation (preferred)
• Master's degree (preferred)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Understands and supports the mission, vision and values of Harmony Public Schools.
• Oversees and manages HPS system- wide initiatives , projects , and ass igned grants.
• Provides on- site leadership for the project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
• Provides ownership for the full implementation of the major initiatives from initiation to deployment
• Manages all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
• Establishes project success criter ia, timelines, and progress measures
• Develops effective roll- out plan for each initiative
• Works creatively and analytically in a problem- solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
• Prepares estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project
• Manages the day-to- day project activities and resources and chairs the project management team meetings
• Provides status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
• Understands interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
• Manages project scope and changes
• Supports the alignment of initiatives between central office departments.
• Acts as an internal quality control check for the project
• Manages ongoing quality control and participates in quality issue resolution
• Develops and manages all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communicatio ns, resources, budget, change, risks and issues
• Sets and continually manages project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverable with team members and stakeholders
• Delegates tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
• Defines success criteria and disseminates them to involved parties throughout project and program life cycle
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Strong detail- orientation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms with all levels of management, both internal and external to the district.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internal and external to the district.
• Ability to use computer including software, database used by the district, spreadsheet and word processing software, calculator, copy machine and telephone.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Light Work: may require occasional light lifting.
• Nights and weekend activities will be occasionally required.
• Position is in an office setting and may invol ve prolonged work at a desk in one location.
• Moderate travel is required.
