Job Description

Ideal candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree with current Vermont Teacher Certification and experience working with children in a public school or child care setting. All candidates must meet CDD, VAE and local qualifications.

Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour. ($26 + $1) Overview of responsibilities:
The Site Program Coordinator maximizes student engagement and outcomes by promoting integration of academic and enrichment programming, and fostering development of transferable life and practical skills for youth. The Coordinator works with program staff to incorporate best practices, play, inquiry and exploration to deepen learning. The Coordinator will:

•Liaison between the school and the program site and the Tapestry Program to align service offerings and programming to complement learning and development for youth.
•Manage the site operations effectively and efficiently, including fiscal management, fiscally, and adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements.
•Recruit and supervise program staff and oversee and coordinate monthly plans with staff that include expanded learning opportunities that are enriching, community oriented, field-based, academic, recreational, and/or provide new experiences for children.
•Promote professional learning and advancement, and continuous quality improvement in concert with the Tapestry Program leadership.
•Establish a safe and welcoming environment for staff and children, and families.
