In this position, a cohesive leadership team of deans will be there to support you every step of the way. Along with our result-driven curriculum and commitment to educating the whole child - academically, morally, and socially - you and your students will be set up for success.

Provide instructional assistance to students in need of academic intervention services, which should lead to a significant growth in the fall to spring testing and assessment scores of the students.

*This position is full-time benefit eligible.

Requirements

  • Must meet the State of New York's requirements for being a Title 1 paraprofessional (Must have either 48 completed college credits in any subject or passin of the NY State Assessment of Teaching Assistant Skills (NYSATAS)
  • Valid teaching license - preferred but not required
  • Will have knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, or mathematics
  • Previous experience working in a school or with elementary experience - preferred but not required
