REMUNERATION: According to the teachers' contract - appropriate track and step
QALIFICATIONS: Current World Language (Spanish) Certification and/or middle school teaching experience.
Ability to work with others in attaining team objectives and accomplishing interdisciplinary objectives for students, including technology integration objectives.
Evidence of thorough understanding of unique needs of early adolescents and how their characteristics impact on techniques and curriculum.
Evidence of expertise in working with children in a heterogeneous classroom setting and ability to differentiate instruction.
Evidence of expertise in cooperative learning techniques and writing process.
Experience with working with online teaching/learning programs a plus.
Responsibilities: Provide world language instruction to seventh and eighth grade students.
Perform other classroom teaching and duty assignments consistent with the requirements of the position and board-NFT Agreement.
