Job Description
Special Education Teacher in Nantucket High School:
Moderate to Severe Special Needs
Direct service to students
Co-teaching in core subjects, with strengths in math and science preferred
Experience in strengthening student executive functioning skills
Use of technology/adaptive equipment
Consultations to staff and parents
Experience leading annual team meetings
Development of IEP's
Experience in assisting with modification or curriculum
Experience with language - Based Learning Disability interventions and strategies preferred

Certification Moderate or Severe Special Needs (Professional certification most beneficial). Experience as a lead teacher preferred Position Type: Full-time

Master degree preferred
