HIRING SALARY RANGE: $42,798 - $60,147 per year

POSITION SALARY RANGE: $42,798 - $101,571 per year

Intervention and Data Coordinator:

Eagle Valley Elementary School is seeking a knowledgeable and passionate educator who will work to address COVID Pandemic learning loss and to ensure success for all students.

The Intervention and Data Coordinator will be positioned as a teacher leader and the team leader for the school interventionists. While this position is similar in duties to an MTSS Coordinator, the responsibilities will be targeted toward mitigating the learning loss associated with missing instructional time during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The staffing for this positon includes three extra days at the beginning of the school year and a teacher leader stipend of $5000 per year. This team member will be a part of the EVES Instructional Leadership Team and will be responsible for leading the school's interventionists. As EVES is a dual language school, a bilingual candidate is strongly desired.

Eagle Valley Elementary (EVES) is a fully authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) World School serving the community of Eagle. With the Learner Profile and the six global themes at its center, the IB Primary Years Program focuses on a transdisciplinary curriculum that is engaging, relevant, challenging, and significant for learners in Pre-K through 5th grade. SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION:

Collaborate with and assist the principal and pedagogical leadership in mitigating learning loss related to COVID-19.

SUPERVISED BY: Principal

ESSENTIAL JOB ELEMENTS:
  • Work with grade level teams and interventionists to select students for short term, targeted intervention.
  • Model co-teaching and co-planning.
  • Teach small intervention groups as needed.
  • Participe in the MTSS process as a resource for intervention best practices.
  • Use Istation data and resources to guide classroom teachers on best practices for tiered instruction.
  • Communicate with families about interventions and student progress.
  • Provide for a safe and orderly work environment for students and staff.
  • Establish and maintain positive, productive working relationships with staff members.
  • Advocate and support parents assuming an active role in their children's schooling.
  • Demonstrate positive and clear communication with all individuals and groups.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Bilingual STRONGLY PREFERRED
  • Active teacher authorization or license issued by the State of Colorado.
  • Must be "Highly Qualified" according to the Colorado's definition of a "Highly Qualified" teacher under the No Child Left Behind Act (effective January 1, 2004 for current teachers and 2002-03 for newly hired teachers).
  • Endorsement in elementary education.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of Istation Reading, Math, and Spanish preferred.
