Are you looking for a rewarding career opportunity with a community oriented school district?

Westford School (grades PK-8) is seeking a full time substitute in supporting staff and students for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year. Duties include lunch and recess supervision and may vary based on daily school needs. This position is open through the end of the school year and full day coverage (8:00 --3:00 pm) is preferred.  Candidates not available for full days or for the complete duration of the opening are encouraged to apply as there may be flexibility in scheduling.  Minimum hours needed are from 10:30 am --2:00pm per day. Work with students is primarily in small groups and 1:1 settings, supporting social skills and providing classroom breaks.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
  • Valid Vermont Professional Educator's License preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work cooperatively and effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to jump in and complete varying tasks as needed throughout the work day.
  • Experience in the areas of behavioral interventions, mental health, and social emotional competencies helpful but not required
