This position is directly responsible for the day to day supervision of MSCR's All Star Sports and Sports of All Sorts Day Camps. Site director will oversee most aspects of staffing, programming, and camper relations for our summer camp season.

Duties include staff hiring and training, site and resource organization and program management. Responsibilities include directing staff trainings, weekly staff planning meetings, managing camper information and groupings, maintaining camp resources and supplies, and interacting with parents, campers, staff and administration as needed.

The director is accountable for the overall management of the program and are specifically responsible for personnel management, program development and health and safety management in accordance with MSCR Policy.

Work Location: Locations Vary

Hours of work: 8:30am-4:30pm Monday - Friday (Flexible schedule)

FTE/Hours Per Week:
Max of 40hrs/week

Salary:

$15 per hour

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Experience with Youth of all ages in a variety of settings
• Experience with providing programming for diverse populations
• Works independently with minimal supervision
• Experience leading a staff
• Works well with the public
• Strong communication skills

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience leading a staff
• Experience working with Youth in a variety of settings

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience programming for youth in a Sports setting
• CPR/AED Certified
