Lake Forest School District 67 is seeking a full-time Learning Behavior Specialist at Sheridan Elementary School.
Description: The learning behavior specialist assists students in developing the foundational skills they need to be successful learners. The learning behavior specialist works with students individually, in small groups, and in a co-taught setting within general education. The learning behavior specialist provides modifications, accommodations, and personalizes the curriculum and environment to help each child grow and be successful. Experience supporting students with significant emotional and behavioral challenges and serving as a resource to general education teachers is strongly preferred.
