Summary
This position will be responsible for generating reliable data reports and providing the technical expertise to disseminate data and other information in a user-friendly format.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the Instructional Data Coordinator to ensure the most up-to-date information is being used to develop effective instructional strategiesDevelops and maintain programs necessary for the development and processing of district accountability reportsPerforms analysis of data in response to specific inquiriesDesigns and produce reports containing summaries of school data for each campus, which include summaries of normed tests, state-mandated tests, benchmark assessment tests, teacher characteristics, student enrollment, school mobility, and dropout indicesDesigns and produce new reports or modify existing reports containing achievement and/or demographic dataIntegrates information from multiple sources for statistical analysisDesigns and produce School Snapshots of overall achievement data for each schoolDesigns and coordinate professional development for district, school administrators and staff on the use and interpretation of site/department reportsCommunicates with administrators, Board members, parents and community members as necessary regarding data warehousingImplements procedures to report specific data at critical intervals to district administrators in a timely manner.Keeps abreast of current and emerging technical and professional trends and developments affecting the relational databases and statistical analysis, and recommend modifications that will improve the performance of district procedures.Analyzes and communicates data trends to the Board, Administrative Staff, parents and communityOther duties or tasks may be assigned on an as needed basis.

Qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred, with at least five years of experience in research methods, measurement, or statistical analysis preferred.
