  Qualified candidate will work collaboratively with the Child Find Team and parents to screen and develop necessary health care recommendations and plans for students. Writing reports, vision/hearing screenings and attending IEP meetings are also job responsibilities. Child Find operates year round. An Agreement for Services will be put in place for additional days that will be worked.
Additional Info: 21-22 School Year.
Caseloads are finalized after hire, some positions will be changed to Educational Diagnosticians that do not carry a caseload of students but rather will determine what services students should be receiving in their IEPs.

• The nurse is legally responsible to train, delegate and supervise nursing procedures.
• Create individualized health care plans for students with health-related problems; interpret health and developmental information for parents, school personnel and students
• Delineate accommodations and/or modifications required for learning when indicated by health or developmental status of student
• Serve as a resource person and consultant to staff, students, families and community health providers

Education and Licensure

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Colorado Licensure as Registered Nurse
• Holds a Colorado special services provider license or is currently eligible for one with the appropriate endorsement for this position
• Current CPR certification
• 3 years of current clinical experience
• A completed Human Resources file including transcripts, student teaching verification, previous work experience
