The Council Bluffs Community School District is seeking applicants for teachers of the elementary Extended School Year (ESY) program. The ESY program is for students grades K-12+ with special education supports and services that qualify for extended school year services. This will run Mondays through Thursdays from July 6 to July 29. There will be two (2) planning/work days (four hours) in addition to the program dates. The elementary program will be held at Rue Elementary School.
Position: Special Education Teacher: TLP/BSP Program
Grades: K-5
Openings: Two (2)
Student Hours: 8:30 a.m - 12:30 p.m.
Teacher Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (M-Th)
Teacher Plan Time: 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Hourly Rate: $30.00/hr (Teaching),$25.00/hr (Planning)
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Qualifications, requirements, and responsibilities of position during regular school year apply.
- Must hold an Iowa teaching license with appropriate special education endorsements
- Must be trained in crisis interventions with a valid CPI certificate
