Job Summary

Works closely with and supports customers, subject matter experts, and team members to understand federal, state, and District requirements related to enterprise resource planning and related systems. Provides advanced level support for processes and activities related to operation of the enterprise resource planning system and related ancillary systems. Serves as customer interface to the IT department to provide new or enhanced functionality in related systems. Analyzes, designs, and maintains ERP configurations and applications to support advanced level business processes and functions.

Essential Functions

1. Provides advanced level support for ERP modules that include HR, Payroll, Finance or Logistics.
2. Configures SAP annually or as needed for processes that include wage types, work schedules, benefit plans, salary schedules, funds management derivation tables, Bud Prep, and/or logistics tables.
3. Gathers user requirements for requested enhancements and changes to SAP system.
4. Documents changes, updates, and procedures for end users on new or existing processes and provides technical assistance and training.
5. Supports annual and periodic processes such as W2's, 1099's, annual Budget Process, Staff State reporting, Cost Report, and ACA reporting.
6. Configures changes due to business processes or compliance issues with Federal and State Agencies, State Statute, Board Policy or Collective Bargaining Agreements.
7. Tests SAP processes for new or existing functionality prior to release to end users for acceptance testing.
8. Reviews SAP notes for Legal Change Patch updates and support for Legal Change Patch testing.
9. Reviews SAP access requests and assign roles.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Experience: Six (6) years of experience in ERP system or business analysis. Public sector experience preferred. Experience in requirements gathering, functional testing, and technical documentation preferred.

Certifications & Licenses: Relevant ERP certifications preferred.
