Description:
St. Thomas of Villanova School in Palatine is seeking candidates for a 6-8 grade ELA teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. Ideal candidates should be dedicated, hard-working, enthusiastic and organized. STV's rigorous curriculum consists of the Sadlier Vocabulary Workshop, Pearson Literature, and novel studies. An understanding of data from iReady and other formative and summative sources is preferred.
Teacher should be familiar with Google Suite, PowerSchool, and general technology, or have an aptitude for technology. State of the art classrooms contain one-on-one devices, new collaborative seating, Smartboards, etc.
