Intermediate District 287 is looking for qualified Educational Audiologists like you for an open position with our Itinerant Programs!

Intermediate District 287 is a west metro district for learners with unique needs. As an intermediate district, we provide specialized services, primarily setting IV special education, to students from 11 member districts in the west metro - Brooklyn Center, Eden Prairie, Edina, Hopkins, Orono, Osseo, Richfield, Robbinsdale, St. Louis Park, Wayzata, and Westonka.

What you'll do as an Educational Audiologist:

  • Evaluate deaf/hard of hearing students' hearing levels and hearing needs
  • Evaluate classrooms for sound measurement
  • Provide technical assistive devices for students
  • Provide training to school staff, students, and parents as needed

Salary & Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: $42,290 - $86,528 DOE and E

Requirements:

  • Interested in candidates who are: diverse, bilingual, or have experience working with diverse populations.
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Three (3) years of work experience in rehabilitation audiology or other specialized areas of audiology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by the American Speech and Hearing Association, including documentation of a clinical fellowship. Licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health as an Audiologist.
