Lake Forest Elementary School District 67 is seeking August Summer School Learning Behavior Specialists 1 (5-8). The compensation is $697 for each 1.5 hour class. Please see the attached Summer School schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serves as the special education teacher for assigned studentsImplements IEP goals and objectives and accommodationsPlans lessons and prepares instructional materialsPresents lessons effectivelyProvides for differences of individuals and groupsEvaluates student achievement effectivelyInteracts with students in a manner that encourages respectful relationships among students and teachersDemonstrates positive interpersonal relations with staffWorks cooperatively with school personnel to benefit studentsCommunicates effectively with parents to enhance the learning process by responding to or initiating parent contacts in a timely, professional and constructive mannerExecutes Board of Education and building policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist I endorsement
