Application to Become an Approved Principal or Assistant Principal

This application is for external candidates wishing to be considered for Principal or Assistant Principal positions in Pasco County Schools. This is for External Candidates Only. Internal Candidates need to complete the application designated for Internal Candidates, which runs during designated windows throughout the school year.

External Candidate - Please upload the following required documentation as part of your application:
  • Official transcripts (reflecting degrees)
  • Certificate in Educational Leadership (or eligibility statement)
  • Updated resume to reflect current position and experience. We prefer two or more years of recent experience as a school administrator or if you are on another district's approved assistant principal list/pool please provide documentation
  • Two most recent annual performance evaluations with a rating of effective or higher
  • No disciplinary actions for the last 5 years.
