Director of School Counseling - Keene High School - To begin July 1, 2021.
The job of High School Director of School Counseling was established as a leadership position to assist in providing support to the culture of the school, the behavior, programming, and post-secondary planning of students, as well as analysis of overall student achievement at Keene High School; assisting in providing information and serving as a resource to others; assisting in enforcing established policies and regulatory requirements; assisting in coordinating school activities and addressing issues, situations and/or problems that arise on campus or with enrolled students.
This is a full-time, year round position - 260 days with excellent benefits, including enrollment in the Ne Hampshire Retirement System.
Minimum Qualifications:
· At least three years of successful paid and progressively responsible experience in the field of school counseling, with recent leadership experience that encompasses comprehensive knowledge of school operations.
· Completion of a state board of education approved school counseling program at a master's degree level or higher.
· Must hold or be eligible to hold New Hampshire certification as a school counselor.
