School Nurse

Summer Program: July 6, 2021- August 12, 2021

Monday - Thursday, 8am-1pm

Qualifications:

• Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
• Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Experience in child health, community health, or other relevant clinical nursing.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing services to student populations on a day to day, as needed basis.
• Assessment, triage and treatment of acute illness.
• Administer medications.
• Communicate with parents, faculty/staff and healthcare providers as needed.
• Provide emergency care in cases of injury or sudden illness.
• Perform such other tasks as may be assigned by the building Principal and/or the Director of Student Services.

Salary: In accordance with FEA contract, $35 per hour
