The Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools Office is located in Sonora, CA. Sonora is often called the gem of the southern mines along Highway 49. Our county is also the northern gateway to Yosemite National Park. We are located approximately 60 miles east of Modesto, 90 miles southeast of Sacramento, and 160 miles east of San Francisco.
