General Description
Alliance Center for Education is looking for someone interested in working in a collaborative environment who is energetic and loves working with preschool and elementary aged children. The Lead Teacher will manage the overall daily operations of the program site and will be responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of programming to include field trips, homework & tutoring, recreational activities, curriculum and manage community partnerships. The Lead Teacher will also be responsible for maintaining a productive learning atmosphere in a healthy, safe and clean physical environment. The Lead Teacher will work a split shift Monday - Friday, totally 30 hours per week. The approximate hours are 6:00am - 9:00am and 3:30pm - 6:00pm.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
The candidate should possess an AA degree in education or a related field with two or more years of experience a plus or related training. Must have excellent communications and computer skills. Applicant must be able a to pass a pre-employment physical, TB test, background check and drug test and be subject to post-employment random drug screening.
Position Placement:
Position is Part-time (not to exceed 30 hours per week)
