POSITION SUMMARY
• The Building Services Manager manages the maintenance, repair and general cleaning of the office facility and
parking structure.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Directly responsible for all activities associated with that facility, which include parking garage, mailroom and retail
space.
• Responsibly for interviewing, planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and
disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Required to make minor on-site repairs to damaged or broken equipment and oversee all maintenance and repair of
the facilities performed by maintenance crews.
• Inspect, supervise, evaluate and provide final approval of the work performed by maintenance crews.
• Assists in preparing departmental budget and monitors department expenditures.
• Receive and investigate calls for urgent and/or emergency repairs.
• Implement Preventive Maintenance (PM) program.
• Perform physical site inspection every morning for each school and submit a report on the quality of custodial work.
• Communicate key information to the Regional Supervisor of the school's performance with respect to cost
management and customer satisfaction.
• Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator.
• Required to attend scheduled shift during regular business hours as mandated.

EDUCATION:
? Associate's degree required.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:

WORK EXPERIENCE:
5 years of related experience.

Compensation :

Salary Grade: 129

Salary Range: FY'20 APS Salary Schedule (All Positions)
