Union Elementary School Math Specialist (1.0 FTE) for the 2021-22 SY. This position is full tifme, school year
Qualifications: Must be eligible for State of CT certification in Elementary Grades K-6

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Math Specialist provides 1) instructional interventions; 2) professional development and coaching; and 3) curriculum, assessment, and program improvement for mathematics. This teacher leadership position provides direct support to both students and teachers to meet Farmington's Math Standards. The Math Specialist reports to the Director of Curriculum and Building Principal. Working through the principal or Director, the Math Specialist may request necessary reports, data or information from teachers, call necessary meetings and require that established policies, program and procedures be complied with. The Math Specialist is supervised and evaluated by the Building Principal. The Math Specialist supervises math support personnel (such as paraprofessionals).
