Certified Part-Time Teachers Wanted in Polk County! Catapult Learning, LLC is looking for qualified and experienced teachers in Lakeland! Catapult Learning is a provider of K-12 contracted instructional services to public and private schools throughout the US, specializing in at-risk youth and students who are struggling.
We have part-time (up to 15 hours per week) face-to-face openings in K-12 private schools near Lakeland for this school year. Schedules include both after-school hours and regular school hours. The programs focus on Math and Reading small group instruction.

We are also beginning to look for part-time teachers for our summer school programs and for the next school year.

Job Duties:

• Attend training sessions and deliver designated instructional models and strategies in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills to eligible students through utilization of company-designed materials and educational strategies.

• Maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans provided for you by Catapult Learning.

• Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies.

• Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.

• Instruct Reading and/or Math in a face-to-face/onsite setting (and virtually, if needed).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher

• Current FL Teaching Certificate (we can accept Statements of Eligibility with a fingerprinting requirement only)

• A minimum of 1 year of experience with instructing children/school-aged students

• Experience with and ability to perform both classroom and virtual teaching/instructing

• Working knowledge of MS Office and virtual meeting programs (Zoom, etc.) preferred

• Internet connectivity required (virtual learning materials will be provided, if needed)

• A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards students, administration, parents, and other internal and external customers
