JOB GOAL
Implementing the Harmony Educational Model in partner schools ; c reating and managing the development of curriculum , instruction, assessment, and professional development in school programs in general , and particularly in Science , Technology, and Engineering
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
• Valid Teaching Certificate (pre ferred)
• Administrative experience (preferred)
• ESL teaching certificate (preferred)
• Master's in education or Principal Certification (preferred)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Understands and supports the mission, vision and values of Harmony Education Solutions.
• Works in coordination and collaboration w ith the HPS curriculum department
• Develops curriculum documents and lesson guides for pre- K and K- 12 Science, Technology, and Engineering courses which include but are not limited to digital literacy, coding, 3D design, drones, and robotics
• Creates profess ional development for partner schools
• Coaches and communicates with coaches, teachers, curriculum writers, and administrators from partner schools
• Runs and analyzes reports from personalized learning software
• Communicates with representatives from publis hing companies and orders instructional materials, lab equipment and kits for partner schools
• Helps build and manage STEM labs and makerspaces in partner schools
• Creates and manages local assessments for partner schools and analyzes assessment data
• Supports test administration and data analysis for norm- referenced test s, portfolio- based, and performance-based assessments
• Maintains and provides technical support on curriculum platforms, LMS systems such as Schoology, Canvas, Moodle, and Google Classroom and Student Information Systems such as Skyward, PowerSchool, etc.
• Works on item banks, online assessment databases, assessment platforms such as Eduphoria, PowerScho ol, etc.
• Organizes STEM events, Science Fairs, competitions, robotics displays, etc.
• Enriches the curriculum with Project Based Learning, leads efforts to implement these in the existing Harmony curricula, Science, Engineering, Technology Applications and Computer Science programs.
• Helps implement school programs and tasks such as instructional framework, interventions, tutorials, ESL, GT, STEM, teacher evaluation, mentoring, blended learning, academic competitions, scheduling, college preparation, student advising, project-based lea rning, social emotional learning, strategic planning, surveys, reports, leadership development, accreditation consulting, school culture and discipline, handbooks, manuals, marketing materials, and parental involvement
• Attends meetings
• Assists partner scho ols in interviewing teachers and administrators
• Seeks out and attends relevant national or international conferences and professional development sessions
• Helps host partner school visits to Harmony campuses, trainings, student programs, etc.
• Per forms other duties as assigned

• Ability to write and revise curriculum
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms with all levels of personnel , both intern al and external to the organization

• Ability to operate shop tools and equipment.
• Ab ility to work with advanced computer systems including software (Adobe, CAD design, a major Programming Language (e.g. C, C++, Java, Python)
• Ability to analyze data
• Ability to engage problem- solving skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Light Work: may require occasional light lifting
• Nights and weekend activitie s will be occasionally required . Flexibility for hours of the day and days of the year may be needed upon request from partner schools.
• Position is in office setting and may involve prolonged work at a desk in one location
