The Collaborative for Educational Services is seeking an entry level SEIS Technology Support Specialist to provide basic technical support, both hardware and software, for teachers providing SEIS services in classrooms across the state. This is a full time, year round position.

This is You:
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree or certificates in technical support fieldAt least 3 years of experience in providing technical support to a wide and diverse user baseStrong knowledge of Mac OSStrong hardware troubleshooting and repair skills required
  • Experience working in networked environments
  • Must be able to work independently and have the ability to triage and manage competing priorities

Highlights of What You Will Do:
  • Work collaboratively with SEIS staff and with CES technology teamSupport technology needs of users with technology skills ranging from beginning to advancedTroubleshoot networks, systems, and software applications to correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties on a mixed-platform environment
  • Operate "Help-desk" to troubleshoot and repair computer hardware and software as needed, via email, telephone, and in-person support
  • Provide support for curriculum integration with technology
  • Maintain, analyze and report data on all essential functions of the position
  • Use data to promote continuous improvement of job performance and program outcomes
