Catapult Learning, a division of FullBloom, is i n search of a part-time teacher to join our Northern Virginia team.

Teachers work with Title I eligible students in grades K-5 for reading and/or math pull-out intervention. This role is at a private school in Alexandria, VA. Teachers and students are in-person with a possibility to move to virtual instruction. This is a perfect position for licensed teacher wanting part-time hours!
Catapult Learning emphasizes small group teaching environments, and high professional standards. We provide teachers the opportunity to grow with us and help students in grades K-12 to achieve beyond expectations! Teachers are supplied with all classroom and instructional materials. Continued instructional and leadership support for all employees is also provided. Compensation is comparable to public school.
Responsibilities

• Be willing to adapt and become comfortable with online/virtual teaching if necessary.
• Implement program according to Title I regulations, company procedures and policies, and contract requirements.
• Diagnose academic needs and deliver individualized math and/or reading instruction for eligible students.
• Develop lesson plans that provide for differentiation and ongoing informal assessment.
• Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by Catapult Learning and/or federal regulations.
• Ensure supervision of students at all times.
• Create a positive classroom environment which supports engaged student learning.
• Maintain regular communication with school personnel and classroom teachers.
• Provide periodic communication with parents/guardians regarding the students academic success.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Current active Virginia teaching certificate required
• Title I experience preferred

Physical Environment:

• L ight lifting, walking , climbing stairs
• If virtual, professional/private home space is required
• Non-public school setting (Elementary School, grades K-8)
