ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Instructs students through effective differentiated teaching methods to ensure comprehension and mastery of content.
- Prepares engaging and challenging lessons.
- Attends faculty meetings and professional learning sessions (GACTE Summer Conference, Cluster Drive-ins sponsored by the Georgia Department of Education, APS Professional Development, etc.).
- Maintains and operates an active Career Technical Student Organization (CTSO).
- Administers and/or supports the state and local standardized testing processes and policies.
- Administers various types of assessments to monitor student's comprehension of content.
- Enhances course content in the form of remediation, modification, and enrichment.
Requirements :
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required.
Certification/License:
- Must hold a valid Georgia Professional Certification in Business Education at a T4 level or higher, or be eligible for certificate.
Work Experience:
- Previous teaching experience preferred, but not required.
