  • Job Title: Multi Tier System of Supports Coordinator

    Job Summary: The Multi Tier System of Supports Coordinator must be knowledgeable of the 3 Tier MTSS process, possess the ability to work collaboratively with administrators, school psychologists, special education teachers, classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, parents, and staff and be able to design, implement and monitor interventions designed to help students achieve academic success.

    Qualifications:
    Master's Degree in Education
    IL PEL with required endorsements

    Essential Functions:
    1. Organize and facilitate the MTSS Team in each building.

    2. Implement the 3 Tier MTSS instructional systems to increase student achievement.

    3. Make database instructional decisions regarding student-learning needs.

    4. Compile school-wide data from MAP/NWEA and PBIS to assist building administrators and teachers in data analysis and instructional planning.

    5. Assist staff with progress monitoring processes and procedures to ensure that interventions are implemented with fidelity and show student progress using graphs and charts.

    6. Provide documentation and progress monitoring data to Pupil and Personnel Services

    7. Assist in coordinating services for students such as After School Support, Social Skills Groups, in school counseling, and guidance services.

    8. Stay current with MTSS trends and research based interventions so teachers and students are offered a variety of interventions to choose from.

    9. Plan and implement professional development for teachers and building principals in effective instructional interventions.
