The Council Rock School is seeking exemplary, student-centered applicants for the position of Elementary Principal for Maureen M. Welch Elementary School.  Maureen M. Welch Elementary School is located in Churchville, PA and encompasses 500 students in kindergarten through sixth grade, and a staff of approximately 70 staff members. The Council Rock School District, recognized as one of the premier school districts in the region, is located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania 30 minutes north of Philadelphia and just across the Delaware River from Princeton, New Jersey and serves approximately 10,846 students in two high schools, two middle schools and ten elementary schools with 1,350 employees in our 17 facilities.  This is an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished and motivated administrator with a strong understanding of elementary philosophies and principles.  Responsibilities will include serving as lead learner, overall building management, and a lead role in the continual development of our elementary program. Qualifications for this position include PA K-12 Principal or PA Elementary Principal Certification. Experience teaching at the elementary school level, elementary school administration, and/or K-12 building administration is required.
