Duties: Work with students on a one to one basis and in small groups. Assist with transitions so that student participates in classroom activities. Provide physical assistance to a student. Supervise students and perform other services as determined by the teacher. Follow directions from principal and teachers. Proven ability to interact with faculty/staff, students and parents.

Additional Job Information : Minimum Qualifications: A. Graduation from high school or possession of a high
school equivalency diploma; or four years of experience and knowledge where specialized duties are involved
B. Ability to work with young student(s)
C. Ability to collaborate and work as a team.
D. Patience in dealing with students with disabilities
E. Good communication skills
F. Empathetic but able to positively motivate students to do well
G. Personal Care Aide experience preferred
H. SCIP trained preferred
