    Qualifications:
    1. Bachelor's Degree in Education, Community Development, or related field required, Master's Degree preferred. Relevant education and/or work experience in Human Services or related field, with an emphasis in working with youth, children and community.
    2. Prior experience in areas related to school/community relations, working with parents, and/or teaching students. Prior knowledge of and/or experience with the Allentown School District or a Local Education Agency (LEA) is preferred.
    3. Collaborative program planning and facilitation experience is required.
    4. Ability to work in a non-judgmental, culturally sensitive manner.
    5. Satisfactory work record & criminal/child abuse clearances (Acts 34, 114, and 151).
    6. Must be able to work a flexible schedule (day and evenings), Monday through Friday.
    7. Bilingual preferred.
    8. Demonstrated organizational and data management skills.
    9. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and Allentown School District Board of Directors deem appropriate and acceptable.

    Summary
    This individual manages the community partnership (Communities in Schools Lehigh Valley, Keystone Educate (College Tutors), and Mosser Village Family Center) to implement before and after school programs to Allentown School District students and their families, in coordination with the ASD school principals, teachers, staff, and agency partners. This position is housed at Allentown School District Administration Center.
