Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with Director of Student Services during the spring to prepare for the summer program.
• Work with Director and staff in early July to set up classes and prepare for students.
• Provide general oversight and support to the summer school program.
• Serve as primary liaison for parents, staff and Student Services Office.
• Ensure that programs are appropriately staffed and substitutes are provided when needed.
• Submit staff attendance records to Student Services Office on a weekly basis.
• Oversee the provision of materials and supplies; approve any purchases and submit receipts for reimbursement.
• Maintain student records (attendance, IEP's, medical information, emergency contacts, etc.
• Organize procedure for regular parent communication/ newsletters.
• Ensure that procedures and forms for field trips are followed.
• Consult on matters related to transportation, discipline, etc.
• Serve as a curriculum resource to teachers.
• Ensure that a progress report is completed for each student.
• Assist staff with final clean up/ pack up at the end of the program.
• Return all confidential materials to the Student Services Office.
