Requirements
Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold, a teaching certificate issued by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board with an endorsement in 6-12 Mathematics. School location is anticipated to be Laramie High School.
Other desired qualifications include: Commitment to student learning and academic excellence; knowledge of effective instructional practices which emphasize active student engagement, participation, and thinking; ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to build cross-curricular teams and engaging educational experiences for students; ability to work and build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents; strong content and pedagogical knowledge base, with experience in academy structures desired; strong classroom management skills; ability to implement state standards and benchmarks; enthusiastic; excellent verbal and written communication skills; knowledge of technology and its uses for promoting student learning; and willingness to participate on school and district committees and in required in-service activities. Experience teaching (Insert endorsement area here) classes a plus!
