Public Health Data and Evaluation Specialist

The Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) is seeking a Public Health Data and Evaluation Specialist to play a central role on the Health Families and Communities (HFC) team informing the Department's efforts,primarily the SPIFFY Coalition, to prevent underage substance use and more broadly to achieve health equity in Hampshire County. The Specialist will work with the HFC team to design and oversee programmatic evaluation.

Who We Are: The HFC team carries out community health activities that underpin and support strong educational and health outcomes for all members of the community. HFC houses a number of public health coalitions and programs, including the SPIFFY Coalition, Healthy Hampshire, Youth Mental Health First Aid, and the Hampshire-Franklin Tobacco-Free Community Partnership.

Highlights of what you will do:
  • Work with the SPIFFY Coalition staff to build consistent evaluation structures and capacity, and develop actionable findings and reports that address stakeholder needsIn collaboration with others, collect community-level data, review performance data for department initiatives, and assess progress toward program goalsEnsure that the principles of participatory research, health equity, anti-racism and community-driven decision-making are fully integrated with your work
