CPS has set ambitious goals to ensure that every student, in every school and every neighborhood, has access to a world-class learning experience that prepares each for success in college, career and civic life. In order to fulfill this mission we make three commitments to our students, their families and all Chicagoans: academic progress, financial stability and integrity. Five core principles are embedded within these commitments - high quality, rigorous instruction, talented and empowered educators, safety and support, financial stability and collective impact.

Reporting to the Director of Title IX Compliance & Training, the Title IX Trainer is responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of effective training programs that comply with Title IX and support the District's commitment to fostering educational environments free from discrimination.   • Working with the Offices of Student Health & Wellness, Law, Safety & Security, Talent and other internal departments and external partners in the design, delivery and management of training plans and programs;
  • Developing on-boarding and training materials for OSP employees;
  • Creating ongoing web-based updates to supplement and reinforce training materials; and
  • Track completion for all faculty and staff in-person and online training related to Title IX.

  • Experience training in subjects related to child health, safety, and welfare is a plus;
  • Knowledge of Title IX, sex or gender discrimination is preferred;
  • A high degree of initiative in approaching responsibilities and implementing institutional plans and goals;
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusivity; ability to build relationships, establish collaborative partnerships, and work with a wide range of constituencies with diplomacy and tact; and
