Performs a variety of professional duties required to research, design, and implementation of a divisionwide program utilizing the principals of restorative justice as part of the FCPS disciplinary response; recruits, trains, and mentors school facilitators; collects data to evaluate the effectiveness of restorative justice interventions; develops and implements training for administrators, behavior support teams, and parents and/or guardians; and serves as a resource for regions, schools, and departmental staff members.

Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree plus two years of progressive experience in restorative justice design and implementation. Must possess experience working with students and staff members in school settings; must have a broad knowledge of the principles and practices of restorative justice program design and intervention; experience with data collection and analysis for the purposes of evaluating the effectiveness of program practices; skill in differentiating program materials and implementation for students with special needs or in special programs; skill in teaching adult learners; ability to assist in the development of a divisionwide program at the school, central office, and community level; excellent human relations skills and ability to establish and maintain a successful cooperative working relationship with appropriate school communities, school-based and central office staff members, and county and community partners; and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
