The business analyst will have responsibility for the accounting and financial reporting requirements of their assigned schools and the financial operations of the corporate office by performing the following duties.

Your Role

  • Oversee the compilation of monthly reports for distribution to school and corporate administration.
  • Prepares periodic financial statements for reporting to various agencies and administration.
  • Monitors and reports on spending as it relates to budget.
  • Acts as an advisor to school and Service Center personnel regarding budget issues.
  • Assists with student record information collection and transmission to state agencies.
  • Assists accounts payable in correct coding of transactions.
  • Prepares monthly work papers on assigned general ledger accounts.
  • Assists with account analyses and special projects, as necessary.
  • Assists with annual audit.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Accounting or equivalent from college or technical school; and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have extensive computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • This individual must be well organized and able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • It is important that this individual work well within a team whenever called upon to assume that role within the department.
  • This position requires individual decision-making abilities and the assumption of the responsibility for those decisions.
