Your Role
- Work alongside the college advisor to implement college advising activities.
- Mentor students based on their college and career goals ensuring that they have exposure to their area of focus.
- Meet with families regularly to discuss progress.
- This position will require the development of support systems and training resources to ensure high quality college advising services.
- Develop and plan school wide events and enrichment opportunities for students.
Requirements
- Must hold a bachelors degree and be willing to work towards a masters leading to a school counselor license
- Candidates with experience working with at-risk students - preferred, if applicable to the school
