Current New York State Certification in Special Education (Birth-Grade 2) Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) Middle (Grades 5-9); Experience with academic intervention preferred.
Willingness to expand and develop both knowledge of subject matter and instructional strategies to improve student learning;
Ability to continuously collaborate and consult with other classroom teachers with colleagues;
Must have solid background in differentiation and knowledge of NYS Common Core Learning Standards and NYS Alternate Assessment Frameworks;
Strong communication skills, work ethic and commitment to educational services.
