Librarian

Butler Middle School and Waukesha North High School are looking for high quality candidates for this traveling librarian position.

•Ensures confidentiality when working with data entry

•Technology/ipad experience and willingness to learn inventories and maintaining school technology equipment

•Co-teaching 6th grade research unit

• Builds positive rapport with staff, students, and parents

• Organizes the use of computer labs

• Co-facilitates MAP testing

• Assist students and staff in locating and using materials in the library media center and classrooms by answering questions, gathering materials, demonstrating use of technology

• Maintains the computer catalog, shelf list and other library media files; includes data entry for automated circulation and catalog systems

• Circulates library materials; includes checking materials in and out, sending overdue announcements and maintain overdue records.

• Maintains the library collection; includes shelving books, reading shelves, adding and withdrawing items, mending and repairing items, preparing books for the and assisting with inventory.

• Assist with the ordering and processing of materials and equipment.

• Maintains a clean, orderly and attractive environment; assist in the preparation of displays.

Current Long Term Substitute Teacher rate schedule:

1-20 Consecutive School Days in a single assignment: $115/day

21-60 Consecutive School Days in a single assignment: $130/day

61+ Consecutive School Days in a single assignment: $170/day (***retro paid to beginning of the assignment only at this level)
