Current New York State Certification in Special Education or Students with Disabilities Birth-2, Kindergarten, 1-6,
Experience with 12:1:1 functional academic programing preferred;
Experience writing and addressing IEP goals;
Experience with multi-sensory approaches to reading;
Willingness to expand and develop both knowledge and subject matter to improve student learning;
Ability to collaborate with other staff, parents, students, and administration,
Experience in developing and implementing high quality lessons and interventions with students in both self-contained and inclusive settings,
Experience in the use of technology, communications and information systems to support student learning.
